What to Expect at Wilmington Physical Therapy

• You will be greeted by our friendly front desk staff
• A licensed physical therapist will conduct a thorough evaluation of your condition and contributing factors, establish personalized goals and outline your physical therapy plan of care.
• Your plan of care will include direct one-on-one care from a physical therapist who will utilize manual therapy, modalities including ultrasound and electrical stimulation and appropriate prescription of therapeutic exercise.
• Your plan of care and progress will be documented and communicated with your physician
• Your physical therapist will develop a home exercise program that you will be encouraged to follow

Insurance Information

• We accept most major insurances including Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna and United Healthcare, and we offer flexible payment options.  Please contact our office regarding your specific coverage needs.

In order to give each patient individual and concentrated time, we prefer to see patients by appointment. However, we make every effort to accommodate a physician’s request for a same day appointment and emergencies are always given priority.
